Artificial Plants

Want a lush, green aquarium without the constant maintenance? Artificial plants give you all the beauty of a fully planted tank with none of the trimming, fertilising, CO2 or special lighting that live plants demand. Our Artificial Plants collection features a vibrant range of lifelike decorations that bring colour, depth and natural-looking cover to any aquarium.

Our fish tank plastic plants are made from soft, fish-safe materials that sway gently in the current just like the real thing — without the sharp edges that can tear delicate fins. They will not wilt, rot or alter your water chemistry, and they hold their colour beautifully for years, making them the perfect low-maintenance choice for busy fishkeepers and beginners alike.

Browse a huge variety of styles, from tall background plants that hide equipment and create a real sense of depth, through to mid-ground bushes and bright, colourful foreground accents. Many feature weighted or buryable bases that anchor securely into gravel and sand, so they stay firmly in place even in tanks with strong water flow.

Artificial plants do far more than just look good. They give shy fish somewhere safe to hide, provide resting spots for bettas and fry, and break up sight lines to reduce aggression in busy community tanks — all while keeping your aquascape looking full, green and healthy. Simply rinse them in old tank water now and then to keep them looking fresh.

All artificial plants ship Australia-wide from our Sydney warehouse with fast, tracked delivery. Browse the range below and green up your tank today!
